In 2007 the United States Mint inaugurated the new Presidential Dollars series, a collection
celebrating each U.S. President on a golden Dollar coin. The minting of each Presidential
Dollar is limited to only about three months. This 2007 First Presidential Washington Dollar coin
is no longer being struck by the United States Mint, making it an appropriate keepsake for this
historic moment in Presidential history.

called on a divided house to stand together, where common hopes and common dreams still live, I
stand before you today to announce my candidacy for President of the United States of America."
- The Hawaii State Quarter representing the State where Barack Obama was born.
Released on Nov. 3, 2008 the day before Election Day, the Hawaii State Quarter is the last quarter
in the 50 State Quarter series. Hawaii is the birthplace of Barack Obama, the 44th President of
the United States of America. Barack Obama was born in Hawaii on August 4th, 1961.
